IP Cameras

Internet Protocol cameras, also known as IP Cameras, are digital cameras that send and receive data via the internet or local network. These cameras are connected and powered by a single ethernet cord which allows for a seamlessly functioning unit.

IP cameras come in many different form factors including domes, bullets, turrets,  point / tilt / zoom and cubes. Based upon the needed application and desired installation site, a camera can customized to fit any location.

WIFI Cameras

Wi-Fi cameras are user intuitive and easy to set up, normally with a application on your cell phone. Most customers don't want any hassles when it comes to setting up and installing a surveillance camera and the easiest option is a Wi-Fi camera that runs on rechargeable batteries.

The downside to a Wi-Fi camera is that batteries tend to die out rather quickly (and aren't replaced often), Wi-Fi signals are often weak and forces the camera to preform poorly and laggy when viewing a stream or footage, the camera itself produces a poor picture quality, rending any footage useless and they rely on subsciption services where the customer is charged a monthy fee.
